If you live in the NY Metro area you can drop off your CDs at our loading dock. If you live outside the NY Metro area or don’t want to come to us we will arrange FREE shipping by FedEx Ground. See “What about Non-U.S. customers?” below if you reside in Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico or anywhere outside of the 48 contiguous states.

We pay for shipping your CDs to us only if you reside within the 48 contiguous states.

To receive your prepaid FedEx Ground labels fill out our online order form or send an e-mail with the following information to promo@ipodmeister.com:

·         your first and last name and complete address

·         your phone number

·         the number of packages and the number of CDs in each box (that way we know the weight)

How to package your CDs and DVDs:

·          Get the right size cardboard boxes. Each box should hold at least 200 and not more than 300 CDs. For example, a box measuring 20” x 12” x 12” holds approximately 200 CDs. Sturdy cardboard boxes are available at office supply stores, moving companies, storage facilities, etc. We don’t provide boxes.

·          Package the CDs tightly inside the box. The CDs should not be able to move. Stack them tightly. Only add cushioning material such as newspapers or bubble wrap if needed.

·          In each package include a completed order form stating your name, address, e-mail, and phone number and the color and iPod/iPhone/iPad model you want. In case you opt for digitizing, indicate that clearly and check the compression format you want. The default is mp3 files at 256 KB. Specify whether you are using a Mac or a PC.

What about Non-U.S. customers?

We offer free shipping to all customers living within the 48 contiguous states of the United States.

Prospective customers in the following states or countries have to pay for shipping and customs to our collection points in New York (USA), London (UK) and Berlin (Germany): Alaska, Hawai, Puerto Rico, and other U.S. territories plus customers in Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Switzerland, and the U.K. At this point, we don’t offer the iPod exchange to international customers in other countries.

We offer digitizing services only to U.S. and Canadian customers, not to Western European customers.

Please e-mail us for the mailing address of our collection points in London, UK and Berlin, Germany. For customs purposes, we recommend declaring all CDs as “used CDs” with a total value that reflects current valuations in the used CD market, i.e. $0.25 per item.

Instead of sending non-U.S. customers an iPod or iPhone we will send you an international postal money order in order to avoid customs for a new iPod. The amount of these money orders will be the purchase price of the iPod or iPhone in US$ on the date the exchange is completed.

Please feel free to contact me either by e-mail (kris@ipodmeister.com) or by phone at 877-IPOD CDS (877 476 3237) in case you have any questions.
